TIER manages the hybrid office for 1400 employees in multiples locations across Europe

Since 2020 we have really seen an evolution in the way companies manage the hybrid office. Today, we are interested in how companies manage their spaces. We spoke with Kasia, a Workplace Analytics Manager at TIER to learn more about the implementation of hybrid office in their company.

How do you set up a desk and space booking tool easily in a constantly changing office?

This was one of the first questions Kasia asked herself when she needed to implement a workplace management tool — Ensuring the proper functioning and use of a tool across several thousand employees in multiple cities and countries was no small task.

TIER is the world's leading shared micro-mobility provider with electric scooters, electric bikes, e-scooter, e-bikes, e-moped services and electric bicycles. The company has more than 1400 employees spread over Berlin, London, Stockholm and Paris.

After the Covid restrictions, TIER started to use a spreadsheet to know how to follow legislation in their offices across Europe but it was difficult to maintain and time consuming. They started looking for a hybrid office management tool.

"Why don't we book a desk like we book meeting rooms? It will be the easiest way”

After months of searching for the perfect tool, TIER chose Comeen Workplace.

Fully integrated with Google Calendar, the solution perfectly meets TIER's workplace management needs. The company started by testing Comeen on several offices before extending it to all of Europe. We can tell you that they were convinced. Without the need for tutorials to understand how to use the tool because it's directly a Google Calendar add-on, the implementation was very smooth across the network. Comeen was adopted quickly and very easily.

TIER now uses Comeen Workplace to manage the attendance of its employees as well as the hybrid office and space booking across its different workplaces. We got rid of spreadsheets and focus on things that matter more. We continuously improve our workplaces with Comeen. Our Workplace & Community Team manages easily space bookings based on internal events and our employees manage their desk bookings.
